My novel, “The Long Way Home” has moved to #4 on the All Romance Ebooks top ten, and is still mysteriously missing from the reader rated category. I’m now certain that was probably a mistake on their part. Still, it made me feel really good about it for a minute, and I still feel like I need to pinch myself.
I started a Yahoo Group, which you can join, here. It’s kind of fun getting mail from people who have read my books (and liked them but okay, even if they haven’t, I’m good, bring it on) . I love to see which things touch my readers and which things make them go WTF? Well, maybe. I put the applesauce cinnamon pancake recipe from the book on the groups messages as well, and may I say, the typo there is an example of why, when you’re tired, you shouldn’t type and also why God, in His wisdom, made all those wonderful editors, like Pat at AMP and Barbara at Loose Id and Raven at MLR press.
I just wanted to say thanks for getting the book and reading it, if you’re one of the readers who did. Thanks for watching the YouTube video. (And if you haven’t commented on that and you can, run by and do that, as it makes my daughter’s day.) Thanks for reading my blogs, and leave comments here if you have any, because I LOVE that, and it seems that hardly anyone does. Although my WordPress blog is moderated, by me, and it may take a while for it to show up, I really appreciate it and try to answer.
In the meantime, I have to go get soccer ‘team mom’ gifts, finish up the sequel to St. Nacho’s, finish up ePistols at Dawn, wait anxiously to hear whether my short story Tango and Temptation is going to make it into the Mmanthology, I Do, (It’s nice just be able to submit, and I’ll be getting lots of copies of that book to give as gifts either way, but I’m crossing my fingers) and oh, yeah. CHRISTMAS is coming.
