Okay, I have gotten my first review for Drawn Together from the lovely and talented Emmyjag from LiveJournal. You can read it here.
I love that Emmy recommended it even though she didn’t think it was the keeper St. Nacho’s was, it’s cool that she said:
Overall, I did enjoy the book, but it fell a bit short of the fabulousness of St. Nacho’s. Not keeper collection material for me, but a good, solid read regardless. Definitely recommended. Get your copy here.
I’ll take that as a total win!
On another front, both St. Nacho’s and the Torquere Press Taste Test Artistically Yours are now available at All Romance eBooks, so if you enjoy shopping there my backlist is available.
For those of you who enjoy social networking sites, I wanted to make mention that I do have a Facebook, a Live Journal, and a MySpace. I’m zamaxfield at Facebook and MySpace, and abstractrx at Livejournal. You can reach Livejournal through my “Contact” page. My website blog automatically posts to all of them.
I’m rather hopeless at the whole social networking thing. I friend most people who ask, but I don’t really understand all the poking and vampire wars and game playing. My children are trying to drag me into this brave new world but it’s slow going. On this WordPress blog, which is essentially my work blog, the comments have been moderated, mostly because it was set up that way, and I only today realized that Spamfree was sending most of the comments, including the ones I was writing to reply to people to… wherever they go… and I have no idea who wrote, if anyone did, or what they said. Sorry about that! I’m pretty accessible through LiveJournal or my Yahoo Group, and I like to hear from readers and other writers. I am a reader first, and I don’t hesitate to stalk write letters to the authors I enjoy. I also invite other authors to promo on my group loop. I find so many good books that way.
I’m most likely to see the comments on this blog and LiveJournal first, and then Facebook second. MySpace seems to be pretty inexplicable, and most people have approached me through the others. My Yahoo Group, here, is a good way to get personally in touch, plus it has the bonus of being the home of a great bunch of readers and writers who are only too happy to share what they’re up to and an MLR editor who can give us the scoop on what’s coming soon from some of the best writers of m/m around. (The ones I stalk read.) I think that’s about it for now, thanks for your support!
