Here’s a little bit about Cynnara:
Currently living in the state that resembles one of her favorite male body parts, (otherwise known as Florida), Cynnara Tregarth learned early how to read, write and entertain. Due to her mother, Cynnara spent way too much on books, but then again, it sent her on the quest for immortality. (She’s still looking for that.)
Early in 2003, she found that route by getting her books published. Since then, she’s learned even more about love, life, sexuality, and how to annoy gods, goddesses, and siblings of all kinds. After her mom’s death in 2008, she spent time taking care of her health and relearning her craft. Now, in 2012, she’s expanding herself beyond romance into both nonfiction and mysteries. She’s not sure where it will lead, Cynnara is excited about turning the corner and allowing her life to be led to the fullest both professionally and personally.
HERE’s the snippet:
****** didn’t say one word. **** didn’t say anything either. He knew she wanted to say something. She felt so wonderful against his body, her softness against his muscles, a perfect match for him, just like he knew she would be. But she was still the feisty woman he had fallen for so long ago.
When they were all outside, **** and ***** lowered ****** and ****** to the ground. Both of the ladies looked at their respective captors with matching narrow expressions. ******’s gaze went to ******. ****** signed something quickly. ****** nodded and walked up to *****. They were up to something, he just knew they were, but what?
Standing up on tiptoe, ****** kissed *****. It wasn’t a casual kiss, but a mind-blowing, toe-curling kiss that would rock any man’s world. ****** slid her arms from around his neck before stepping back.
“Well, that was truly a kiss from my paladin,” ****** said with a satisfied smirk.
**** approached ******. The deer in the headlight look she gave him made his heart stop. He didn’t want to frighten her. Yet he needed her to understand that they needed to work things out. Before he could stop her, ****** stepped back and slammed into the wall. He placed his hands on either side of her head and bent his head toward her. His lips gently caressed hers. He deepened the kiss, his tongue sliding against her teeth, her lips, and then mating with her tongue. One hand cupped the back of her head as he devoured her mouth. His teeth gently nipped her lips, her tongue glided against his. The heat they’d felt online and on the phone was only a precursor to the desire and lust that raged between them in person.
Finally, he pulled back and stepped away from her. ****** enjoyed the kiss, he knew it. If that was a sample of what could’ve been between them, she had given up a lot more than either of them thought possible and for that, he was sorry. He had punished them both for stupid shit and he knew he had a lot to make up for. But how to let her know that he wanted to start over? Or try to move forward?
Suddenly, ****** smiled at her friends and nodded at them. Without a word, the girls walked right past the guys and followed ****** into the club, leaving them standing there looking like idiots. This was war. They weren’t going to let **** or the guys make this easy. Not like he had been hoping. This wasn’t going to be as simple as picking them up and showing them who was boss. If only it were that easy.
****** commented first. “Are we going to just stand here or are we going to follow them so they don’t get hurt?”
***** answered, “I’m voting for carrying them out of there again and then tying them down so they can’t ever do it again.”
**** smiled wickedly. “Oh no, I think they want us to follow them because they think they can outsmart us. I say we go get them, but stay with them once we get them home.”
***** patted his pockets. “Shit, we have to go after them, regardless of what we want. ****** stole my keys to the car.”
